In addition to IFK Nyköping, 31 other teams played in Pojkar 04. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Nyköping could be found in Group E together with Hammarby IF HF, VästeråsIrsta HF and Riihimäen Cocks Röd.
IFK Nyköping made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group E. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against RP IF Linköping 1, which they won with 13-10. Thereby IFK Nyköping won the entire Slutspel A in Pojkar 04 during Irsta Blixten 2018. IFK Nyköping also participated in Pojkar 04 during Irsta Blixten 2017.
