In addition to Mariestads AIF, 43 other teams played in Pojkar 05. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Mariestads AIF could be found in Group J together with Täby HBK röd, Torslanda HK and IFK Strängnäs.

Mariestads AIF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group J. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Enköpings HF Svart with 11-13. In the Final, RP IF Linköping 2 won over Torslanda HK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 05.
